Who We Are

The Law StoreTM was created by a group of passionate lawyers who felt that the cost and delivery of services from traditional law firms often were inconsistent and unpredictable. We believe everyone should have access to quality and affordable legal services. Through the use of technology, expanded hours, convenient locations, and upfront pricing, The Law Store provides legal help to individuals, families and small businesses without the uncertainty and expense clients often experience in traditional law firms.

Our services are driven by The Law Store Commitments: First, we are committed to our clients having access and direct contact with a lawyer. Second, having a limited budget should not stop you from contacting a law firm. The attorney will be able to assess your needs and help get you pointed in the right direction.

Third, The Law Store offers convenient appointment options and walk-in appointments to help you with urgent legal needs and questions. Fourth, we are open late on weekdays and offer weekend hours to work around your schedule. Fifth, there are no hidden attorney fees. We strive to be up-front in pricing for services, whenever possible. Sixth, we have chosen convenient Walmart locations for our stores that offer mass-transit options, are easy to find, and enable you to get several errands done while taking care of your legal matters.

The Law Store has recognized that there are large numbers of people who are choosing to go without legal services because they are unsure of the cost, not sure where to go, or they cannot miss work to meet with a lawyer. With this in mind, The Law Store has modeled its business based on the needs of the client. We work around your life, so you can get the legal help that you need.

Our Commitment

We created The Law Store to provide easy legal services when you need it, for a range of legal matters. We believe that quality legal services should be made easy, affordable, and accessible for everyone.

OUR ATTORNEYS

At The Law Store, providing affordable legal services does not come at the cost of quality. In fact, all attorneys at The Law Store are carefully interviewed to properly assess their legal education, experience and passion for generating the best possible results for our customers. Additionally, many of our attorneys carry other certifications that demonstrate competence in areas such as Trial Advocacy. WHAT DOES LawPro STAND FOR?

LawPro is short for a law professional. That is what we call the attorneys who are part of The Law Store network. LawPros are attorneys who have met their respective state bar minimum requirements for the practice of law and are in good standing with their state bar. Being in good standing means that they have met any ongoing educational and reporting requirements and are also current on any dues required by the state bar.

Do LawPros have specialized training above and beyond their license/certification to practice law in their particular state?

Maybe. You see, some states offer attorney board certification or specialization if you meet certain criteria. However, this is not something that is offered in every state nor is it required in general for the practice of law. Attorneys at The Law Store are in good standing with the state bar, and some of The Law Store attorneys may have certifications or specializations in particular areas of law – when that is the case, we identify them by calling out such specializations where applicable, like on their bio pages. A LawPro at The Law Store is simply a licensed attorney, otherwise known as a law professional.
